Debt

born, raised, brought up,
supper, attire, tastes,
pennies, love, care
indebted, debtor, creditor

those smiles,
or rebukes’,
sitting with me,
or walk for miles
awake till late with me,
working late for me
my favorite dish,
that temple kiss
Me in head even away,
Ringing me every day
Trust on me, care for me,
Belief , “yes you can be”
I can never pay,
Can I ever pay?

My rival or best pal,
Share your crayons with me,
Taking blames for me,
Hiding my bad deeds,
Fighting for me indeed,
Feed me like mother,
Care like father,
Support as pillar,
Guide me, lead
Tread the path I may walk,
Plucking away all the thorns
Sweet milk chocolate,
sharing your sweets
doing my homework,
working on my project,
I can never pay,
Can I ever pay?

Playing the first game,
Saying I am prettiest dame,
Stealing pickles for me,
Reserving my place
My hope in a surprise test,
You were the best
Praying when I am ill,
Paying my little bill
My proxy in class,
Sipping from same glass,
Still remembering when we are away,
Parted apart,
but connected by heart
